Lord Dunsany, brilliant writer of tales that influenced Lovecraft and Tolkien, had "One Thousand And One Nights" as one of his favorite books. Its reading inspired his works enormously.
The Argentine Jorge Luis Borges defined these tales collection as the best book of the universal literature.
