Vine a España en el 75 como becaria para acabar mis estudios de Historia del Arte. Luego decidí quedarme en este país para dedicarme al “Textil” que me había seducido desde niña (tal vez por los ajuares de varias generaciones que descansaban en los armarios de mi familia y siempre me fascinaron. |

TORRE MARTELLO
Sandycove. Dublin (Ireland)  Near Sandycove, not far from Dublin, beside a pleasant little harbour, we find this tower built in 1804 to prevent Ireland of Napoleonic invasion. However, it has become famous as the setting for the opening of Ulysses by James Joyce. |

In Europe, there is a big palm forest near the Mediterranean Sea. It is located in Elche (Spain) and its origins came from Phoenician times (2000 years B.P.) although the current techniques for producing dates were developing in the Middle Age by the Arabs.
