Paris Opera House: Le Palais Garnier

In times of Émile Zola, Charles Garnier built this wonderful building. It was inaugurated in 1875, in a Neo Baroque style. From then on, it has been one of the most important Opera Houses all around the world.
However, its sculptures, the golden staircase, the foyers, the temporary exhibitions and the auditorium are so fantastic that it is worth to visit them if you have the opportunity.
The auditorium may not always be accessible for artistic reasons but normally, it can be visited freely every day from 10:00am to 6:00pm (last admission 5:30pm).

En vida de Émile Zola, Charles Garnier construyó este maravilloso edificio. Fue inaugurado en 1875 en un estilo Neo Barroco. Desde entonces, ha sido uno de los más importantes Templos de la Ópera del mundo.
Sin embargo, sus esculturas, la escalera dorada, los foyers, las exhibiciones temporales y el auditorio son tan fantástico que vale la pena visitarlos si se tiene la oportunidad.
Por razones artísticas, el auditorio no siempre está abierto al público pero normalmente, puede visitarse gratis todos los días de 10 de la mañana a 6 de la tarde (la última admisión es a las 5 y media pm)
