http://www.yareah.com/images/bandera_2_p.gifDesde 1960, Ignacio María Belda, SCJ, dirigió la rehabilitación del Convento de los siglos XV-XVI “San Jerónimo” en Alba de Tormes. Se trata de un imponente conjunto en piedra de dos claustros, iglesia y diversas habitaciones que habían permanecido en ruinas desde mediados del siglo XIX y que hoy sirven de museo al gran conjunto de fósiles, minerales, piezas prehistóricas y etnográficas que él coleccionó a lo largo de su vida o recogió en las diversas campañas arqueológicas en que participó.

Es una de las colecciones más singulares de Castilla y León, con más de 5.000 piezas de las que se exponen unas 400.
Vivirán un recorrido en el tiempo, desde la prehistoria a la Edad Media, con objetos de todos los continentes.

“San Jerónimo”, an old convent (15th – 16th centuries) in ruins, was rebuilt by the priest Ignacio María Belda, SCJ, from 1960. Today, we can find there one of the most interesting museums of Castilla y León (Spain).
More than 5.000 pieces (400 in exhibition): minerals, fossils, prehistoric and ethnographic objects… that he gathered through his life.
Pieces from Polynesia to Argentine, from France to Africa, and above all, from the excavations where he worked, show us the life and art from Prehistoric times to the Middle Age.
Do not lose it! It is a fantastic experience to see the large building in stone and the singular collection: it is our own complete history.Leer más:

English A new Yareah was born on February: we are searching for writers and collaborators.

We have redesigned the site and we have added new categories like opinions and movies. Now, you can directly send us your news. You just need to register, to answer the e-mail and... to publish your own news, texts or photos!
We are receiving articles, poems, reviews and short fiction and we would like to invite you to participate in this new moment for Yareah: the arts and literature magazine.

At the end of the month, we will select the most interesting pieces to make the pdf-magazine. On April, it will be titled: To Be or not to Be.
We hope you enjoy our new site and you participate in this new idea for the future.
Everybody is welcome.

Estamos recibiendo artículos, poemas, críticas y cuentos y queremos invitaros a participar en esta nueva época de Yareah, la revista de arte y literatura.
Ahora puedes enviarnos directamente tus propias noticias. Sólo necesitas registrarte, responder al email y... ¡publicar tus propias noticias, textos o fotos!
Al final del mes, seleccionaremos los textos más interesantes para confeccionar el pdf de la revista. En abril, se titulará: Ser o no Ser.
Esperamos que disfrutes en la nueva página y te atrevas a participar en ella.

We will receive articles from today to the 20th of February and we will publish them into the digital issue. The best of them will be published on the magazine and PDF the 1st of March.
