Captain America: Civil War is scheduled to be released on May 6, 2016. It’s the conclusion of the Captain America trilogy that began with The First Avenger.Today, ten things you should know.

Development of the film started in late 2013. The film began principal photography in April 2015 at Pinewood Atlanta Studios in Fayette County, Georgia and the Metro Atlanta area, and it concludes in Germany in August 2015.

The Russo brothers were brought back to direct in early 2014.

Henry Jackman, the composer for Captain America: The Winter Soldier, will return to score the sequel.

Chris Evans will play as Steve Rogers / Captain America; Robert Downey, Jr. as Tony Stark / Iron Man; Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow; Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier; Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson / Falcon; Don Cheadle as James “Rhodey” Rhodes / War Machine; Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton / Hawkeye; Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa / Black Panther; Paul Bettany as Vision; Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch; Paul Rudd as Scott Lang / Ant-Man / Giant-Man; and Tom Holland as Peter Parker / Spider-Man. Great cast!

Also, actress Gwyneth Paltrow will play as Pepper Potts, and Martin Freeman is introduced as Everett Ross, a member of the Joint Counter Terrorism Center, and a character associated with Black Panther in the comics

Writers: Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.

The film focus on political interferences in the Avengers’ activities which causes a rift between former allies Captain America and Iron Man. Thrilling!

Runtime: 146 min.
