Sexy men! Outlander season 2 has cast Scottish actor Richard Rankin in the pivotal role of Roger Wakefield. Great! Then, we’ll have two sexy (super sexy) men in the upcoming season. Sam Heughan and his eternal smile playing the role as Jamie Fraser, and Richard Rankin and his deep eyes. What do you prefer? Yes, a difficult question. We’ll see.
Richard Rankin, born on 4 January 1983 in Glasgow, is a Scottish film, television and theatre actor. He is well known for his roles in the Scottish sketch show Burnistoun as well as Captain Thomas Gillan in the BBC One war drama The Crimson Field.
In Outlander season 2, he will play as Roger Wakefield. Who is Roger?
Roger Wakefield is a professor at Oxford University. Not only is he interested in history but in the forgotten secrets that old cultures can hide. His parents died in World War II and was raised by Reverend Wakefield and his housekeeper Mrs. Graham. Thus, he knows Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Frank Randall (Tobias Menzies) from the beginning. In fact, he is the only one who can understand Claire and her ‘peculiar’ time travel. He will be very important to unfold the mysteries of Claire and Jamie Fraser. Roger is described as handsome, friendly, smart and sympathetic. What a man!
Of course, his charming must compete Sam Heughan’s attractive among Outlander fans and follower. Who will be the winner in the end? For now, everybody loves Heughan but in the future… You never know!
Enjoy your day, Yareah friends. Art is everywhere and up to you!
