On January 16th, two new episodes of Sesame Street will premiere on HBO starting at 9:00am. Are you excited? For sure! If you are a child, you will have the opportunity of enjoying a great show. If you are adult, we’re looking forward to some new adventures in Season 46 to remember our own childhood.
Sesame Street season 46 will include 30-minute episodes, new themes, new open and closing songs, a new segment called “Smart Cookies,” and of course, a new cast member. Who is Nina? She is a young, bilingual, and Hispanic woman, who helps our furry friends of Sesame Street to solve their daily dilemmas. Then, she is a positive role model for preschoolers.
Take a look at the video below! Because every Saturday a new episode will air at 9:00am followed by a repeat episode at 9:30am. At the same time, new episodes will debut on HBO Latino and will be dubbed into Spanish.
Furthermore, you will also be able to watch new and past seasons of Sesame Street daily on HBO Family at 8:00am, and five years of library episodes available for streaming on HBO NOW and HBO GO.
Celebrity guests this Sesame Street season 46 will include: Gwen Stefani singing “Be a Good Friend;” Pharrell with “B is for Book:” Nick Jonas with “Check that Shape;” 5th Harmony with “That’s Music;” Sara Bareilles with “Just Like Magic;” Alan Cumming as “Mucko Polo” the grouch explorer; Ne-Yo singing “You’ve Got a Body, So Move It!;” Aloe Blacc with “Everyday Hero;” Tracee Ellis Ross learning about bedtime routines; and Gina Rodriguez singing the ABCs in Spanish.
