Outlander season 2. Starz has just announced that sexy actor Richard Rankin will play as Roger Wakefield, a pivotal role in the upcoming season. But who is Roger?
Roger Wakefield is a professor at Oxford and is interested in history and its dark secrets. His parents died in World War II and was raised by Reverend Wakefield and his housekeeper Mrs. Graham. Thus, he knows Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Frank Randall (Tobias Menzies) and will be very important to unfold the mysteries of Claire and Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan). Roger is described as intelligent and sympathetic.
And how about the actor? Recently, Scottish actor Richard Rankin appeared in the BBC One drama From Darkness, and he will next be seen playing a detective in the BBC’s new drama miniseries Thirteen.
In Outlander season 2, Claire and Jamie are in France infiltrating the Jacobite rebellion led by Prince Charles Stuart, and trying to stop the battle of Culloden and the extinction of Scottish life as they know it. In the 18th century, they will be help by Jamie’s cousin Jared, a local wine merchant. Who will help them in the 20th century? Perhaps Roger Wakefield?
Enjoy your day, Yareah friends. Art is everywhere and up to you!
