The pointOne Android Tablet allows staff to process orders on the move and has been designed to offer a slick, highly intuitive and robust solution capitalising on economical Android hardware so negates the need to invest in more costly tablets.

In addition to this, pointOne will also be promoting its Online Ordering module at the show, which enables customers to order and pay via your website for delivery or in-store collection. Coupled with a smartphone app that can be customised to the business, online ordering offers a unique way not only to reduce the pain in processing orders, but greatly increase the overall customer experience.

Steven Rolfe explains how it works “We build our online ordering system into your existing website. Your customer then visits your site and places their order online. Once they have completed their order and inputted their personal details they get the option to either collect or have it delivered.”
He continues, “If required we can also offer the option for your customer to pay for the order online via a card or paypal. Payment is made to you in the same way you receive payments from credit cards through your bank merchant account number.”
Once the online order is complete a text and email confirmation follows, and at this point the order is sent directly to your EPoS system. The order can be directly printed or displayed on either an EPoS terminal or kitchen management solution. When you open the order, all information such as name, address, and order details are displayed ready to be sent to the kitchen. The print out in the kitchen also contains all the delivery and personal information of the customer, ready to be attached to the order for delivery.

Driver Management

Enables an operation to manage delivery orders from all sources including telephone, online or in-store. By assigning each driver to a specific order, the order process can be streamlined in the most efficient way to meet the needs of the business.


Caller-ID recognises the In-bound telephone numbers of existing customers and then automatically displays their order history and contact details. This speeds up the ordering process and helps build customer loyalty.

Post code look-up

Eliminates the errors often made on telephone orders for new customers by assigning the correct address to each order.

Remote Access

pointOne EPoS Head Office provides owner managers or corporate head offices with the ability to view, consolidate, and manage each of their sites remotely, either singularly, or as a group – and all in real time, with no more overnight polling.
