On August 28, 2015, just one year ago today, A&E modern-day Western Longmire was abruptly dismissed from the network line-up after completing its season 3.

Three months later, Netflix confirmed Longmire resurrection. Thus, Longmire season 4 will begin two weeks from now, on September 10, 2015. Great!
