Actor Ian Somerhalder is from New Orleans. There’s a lot of vampire mystique and mythology that resonates there! Once, he said that he was fascinated by vampires. “I always wanted to play one,” he added. Then, what does he think about vampires?

“Before vampires were aesthetically appealing, they were physical anomalies and ostracized outsiders whom we banished to the dark, and they didn’t have the appeal that they do now.” Ian Somerhalder.

And how about Paul Wesley? From Wolf Lake to The Vampire Diaries, he is specialized in supernatural TV shows. Listen to him!

“I think any time anybody sees the bad guy show emotion and you’re not hitting the audience over the head, there’s always a tinge of empathy for that individual.” Paul Wesley.

Remember that on January 11, 2015, the CW renewed the series for a seventh season. The Vampire Diaries” Season 7 premieres Thursday, Oct. 8 at 8 p.m. EDT on the CW. Are you excited? For sure!

“Zombies, what are you going to do with them? Just keep chopping them up, shooting at them, shooting at them… I happen to like vampires more than zombies.” Martin Scorsese.
