American basketball player Jeremy Lin generated a global following known as Linsanity. From then, he is a world example from young people. Where does his strength come from? Once he said that faith, family, academics and then sports was the order of priorities in his family. Good education! Today, Yareah quote of the day is by Jeremy Lin, the first American of Chinese or Taiwanese descent to play in NBA.
“I think right now the way society’s going, I think role models are important, and kids need direction. If I didn’t have that direction growing up, who knows what I could be doing, because I’ve been lost many times in my life, and I’ve had to have someone guide me back on the right path.” Jeremy Lin.
Jeremy Shu-How Lin was born on August 23, 1988, in Los Angeles County in the city of Torrance, and he was raised in a Christian family in the San Francisco Bay Area city of Palo Alto. In his senior year, Lin captained Palo Alto High School to a 32–1 record and upset nationally ranked Mater Dei, 51–47, for the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Division II state title. He is simply the best!
“When you think about your relationship with Christ, it really just affects every aspect of your life. I think a lot of people try to segment off, like, ‘This is church, so this is God, this is my daily life, this is my job,’ but I think true faith is when it manifests itself in every single aspect of your life.” Jeremy Lin.
Currently, Jeremy Lin plays for the Charlotte Hornets of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
