Bill suffers from his sexual trappings in his other issues. Take religion. I get it Bill! You don’t believe. Could you please stop parading that belief up and down main street like a drama queen? Nobody cares that some people believe and you don’t. And gun control! Don’t get me started. People in canada have guns and don’t shoot one another. People in Mexico have no legal guns and “firearm murder” the crap out of each other! This ALONE should explain what is wrong with America. What does Canada have that America doesn’t? Shit isn’t it obvious? Lots of white people! Yeah I said it!

I have been a viewer of Real Time from the beginning, as well as Politically Incorrect, also from the beginning.
I guess no matter how you start out, eventually, you get insulated from the real world, and only have sycophants answering your questions.
Bill has gotten to that point, quite some time ago in fact. Not too long ago, he defended Donald Rumsfeld, making a distinct separation between Rumsfeld, and the rest of the Bush administration. That was a gross error, in both judgment, and fact. There have been many other instances, where I have to bite my tongue and consider the fact that we all have our own opinions, and let it slide.
His million dollar gift to Obama, his staunch support for Hillary Clinton, when there is a much better, and by the way, more liberal choice in Sanders to consider. He has not even considered Sanders a viable alternative to the same ole crap choices.
Anyway, it sounds like I am just sour grapes about the Sander’s thing, but, I just don’t see much of a progressive in Maher. any more.
Yes, it is cool to be for pot, as I am as well.
Start reading more than your writers kiss-ass reports Bill.

I’ve felt that way too. The bigger you get the more out of touch you can become. Bill gets a little pedantic at times. I liked that he had two Republicans on his last show, but he tends to shout people down now. He should have used the month off to clear out the old and open up to new points of view.

I like Bill more every time I see him and get to listen to his acerbic, yet spot on commentary. Not that there isn’t room for improvement; there always is. And I disagreed with him regarding Obama last time around, and totally disagree that Hillary is a good choice. However, considering the alternatives…

He’s had Bernie Sanders on any number of times, and they seem to have an amenable relationship. As a matter of fact, one of the things that impresses me about Mr. Maher is his diversity of guests, his open minded reception of those guests viewpoints, even when they are right wing nightmares, and his defense of them when things get little squirmy for them, such as his attenuation of Dan Savage’s comments with something like “Alright, Dan, you’ve already got them throwing up in their mouths a little.” Not that I personally mind Dan making homophobic idiots squirm.

I wonder if he’ll ever get Michelle Bachmann on…

As the cricket season draws to a close, Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) can report a surge in popularity for guests seeking a full day of luxury hospitality at Lord’s during a Test Match in 2016. In the Home of Cricket’s most iconic venues – the Captains’ Lounge and Marylebone Suite – hospitality packages which included a hearty breakfast, sumptuous four-course lunch and luxury afternoon tea, sold out quickly for the first three days of the England v Sri Lanka and England v Pakistan Investec Test Matches. Private Boxes with the best views of the action for up to 18 guests also sold out fast for the same days. MCC revealed a sharp increase in revenue for its 2016 Sri Lanka Test Match hospitality packages compared with 2014 when the team last played England at Lord’s. Revenues for hospitality were up by nearly 30% over the same period in 2014 whilst private box sale revenues were up by a healthy 60%. Nick Kenton, MCC Head of Sales, Meetings & Events and Hospitality, said: “2016 has been a fantastic year for enjoying a day of cricket whilst experiencing the very best food, drink and hospitality that Lord’s has to offer. “This year’s sales figures show that hospitality packages at Lord’s were in huge demand and continue to be a key part of the summer sporting calendar.” Lord’s also expects high demand for its new hospitality packages, to be released this autumn for 2017 matches. These include England v South Africa from 6th to 10th July and England v West Indies from 7th to 11th September. Packages for the England v Ireland Royal London One-Day International on 7th May 2017 are also expected to sell out in record time.
