Emmy Nominations 2015 have too many lacks. Vikings is another mistreated TV show. Yesterday, we talked about Outlander and we could named Hell on Wheels too. Vikings (History Channel) has only been nominated for Outstanding Special Visual Effects – 2015. “To The Gates!” An Octagon and Take 5 production in association with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer for History: Dennis Berardi, as Senior Special Visual Effects Producer; Michael Borrett, as Visual Effects Producer; Ovidiu Cinazan, as Lead Compositor; Jeremy Dineen, as Lead FX Artist; Bill Halliday, as Visual Effects Producer; Dominic Remane, as Visual Effects Supervisor; Paul Wishart, as Lead Environment Artist; Engin Arslan, as Lead Lighter; and Ken MacKenzie, as Lead Animator.
Of course, Vikings deserved this nomination but how about the amazing cast? I love Travis Fimmel as Ragnar, and Katheryn Winnick as Lagertha. But I especially like the work of actor Clive Standen as Rollo Lothbrok.
Rollo is a peculiar personality, full of complexes and changes of mood. Brave and handsome, he was the most loyal to Ragnar, his brother, but he betrayed him by jealousy. Nearly mad with rage, his character was unrecognizable. But he repents and in the finale of Vikings season 3, he has possibilities of becoming Earl of France.
Actor Clive Standen plays amazingly all these turns and anxieties. He deserved a nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. What do you think? Tell us your opinion now!
Emmy nominations 2015 for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series: Jonathan Banks, “Better Call Saul”; Ben Mendelsohn, “Bloodline”; Jim Carter, “Downton Abbey”; Peter Dinklage, “Game of Thrones”; Michael Kelly, “House of Cards”; and Alan Cumming, “The Good Wife.”
I also love the work of Ben Mendelsohn in Bloodline and Peter Dinklage in Game of Thrones. But in my opinion, Clive Standen’s performance is more difficult that the rest of nominates.
Enjoy your day, Yareah friends. Art is everywhere and up to you!
