Saul Goodman is a fictional character in Breaking Bad TV show and the titular character of the spin-off series Better Call Saul on AMC. Breaking Bad was a great success and the series received innumerable awards. Saul Goodman had some of the best lines in Breaking Bad. Now, Better Call Saul has received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Drama Series, and Bob Odenkirk, playing the role as James “Jimmy” McGill (aka Saul Goodman), a nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. Why is Saul Goodman so attractive?

Set in 2002, Better Call Saul follows the story of James Morgan “Jimmy” McGill (Bob Odenkirk), six years before his appearance on Breaking Bad as Saul Goodman. He is a small-time scam artist who becomes a lawyer, contacting with the criminal world.

Saul can be easily found in the yellow pages of Albuquerque. He is very popular thanks to his over-the-top late-night television commercials, where his catchphrase is Better call Saul! and claims “I fight for YOU, Albuquerque!”

Saul is extremely skilled at helping his clientele navigate extra-legal circumstances and is the number one at finding legal grey areas and loopholes. Really smart but a little creepy too, because he has connections to highly influential criminals.

Bob Odenkirk performs fantastic this complicated role, full of irony and suspense. Yes, he is a very attractive character! Don’t you think so?

Better Call Saul season 1 premiered on AMC on February 8, 2015. The debut episode set the record for the highest-rated scripted series premiere in basic cable history, with 4.4 million viewers in the 18–49 demographic, and 6.9 million viewers overall. Of course, a second season of 13 episodes was ordered, with the episodes expected to air in early 2016.

Why you ask? Two words, Bob Odenkirk.

What makes Saul so enjoyable? Perhaps it’s that guy Bob who play him. Great casting. Solid writing.
