Wayward Pines premiered on Fox on May 14, 2015. It’s an American television series based on the Wayward Pines novels by Blake Crouch. The series stars Matt Dillon as Ethan Burke, a US Secret Service agent investigating the disappearance of two friend agents in the mysterious little town of Wayward Pines. Thrilling!
Matt Dillon as a long and successful career. He made his film debut in Over the Edge (1979) and established himself as a teen idol by starring in films such as My Bodyguard (1980). In the 2000s, he made his directing debut with City of Ghosts (2002). During his career, he earned many awards and nominations including Oscar and Golden Globe nominations for his performance in Crashand and a Grammy Award for Best Spoken Word Album nomination for narrating Jack Kerouac’s On the Road. Wooow!
However, what does he think about acting and actors? Our quote of the day is by Matt Dillon. Don’t you love him? Tell us your opinion about Wayward Pines! It’s one of my favorite TV shows!
“I like to take chances. The actors I admire are the ones who aren’t afraid to make themselves nasty, bad or even goofy. I’ve never shied away from controversial characters.”
I think it’s an important quote about courage and more if we think that Matt Dillon considers that everybody is an actor: “I know this sounds kind of crazy, but I think we’re all actors.”
“I like doing comedy, I like doing drama. Naturally I like to do, I like doing dramas, I like conflict, and when I do a comedy, you know, I’ve found that, like, romantic comedy is the trickiest one, because often it’s neither: it’s not romantic and it’s not funny. So, like, I like a comedy that’s biting. It’s biting humor or really quirky humor.”
Enjoy your day, Yareah friends. Art is everywhere and up to you!
