For 40 years, NYBG has offered its prestigious and world-respected Certificate in Floral Design. And this year, we celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Floral Design Summer Intensive Program, in which designers looking to jump start their careers can complete all Certificate-required classroom hours in just five weeks! In a beautiful Garden ceremony this past month, 32 new graduates received their Certificates. Many are already working in the industry, and for some, the journey to their dream began on the Summer Intensive track.

“The more often we see the things around us – even the beautiful and wonderful things – the more they become invisible to us. That is why we often take for granted the beauty of this world: the flowers, the trees, the birds, the clouds – even those we love. Because we see things so often, we see them less and less.” Joseph B. Wirthlin.
