The series is a television adaptation of the slasher film series of the same name, and in spite of all the ironic critics, the show is going to be a success. Why?

Because everything around Scream is synonymous of good luck, and the show cannot be an exception. ‘Luck is not sought, it is’ and summer is a perfect time to enjoy Scream again. Did you know that the pilot starts with a YouTube video going viral? It shows Bella Thorne as Nina who’s throat is slashed by an unknown killer, her mother finds her dead in the pool. Scream is always trend! Some data to remember:

The first series entry, Scream, was released on December 20, 1996 and is currently the highest-grossing slasher film in the United States.

The second entry Scream 2 was released on December 12, 1997 followed by a third installment, Scream 3, released February 4, 2000. Scream 3 performed worse than its preceding films. Anyway, it earned over $161 million.

The film series has been the recipient of several awards including a Saturn Award for Best Actress and MTV Movie Award for Best Female Performance for Campbell and Best Horror Film for Scream.

Now, we’ll see the TV show. It’s expected to air 10 episodes for the first season. The show is filmed in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
