Wayward Pines. The Official Truth Cannot Be ‘The Truth’

Wayward Pines Season 1

Wayward Pines season 1 on Fox is thrilling and mysterious. On episode 5, we knew the official truth about this strange town and its strict (and cruel) laws. It was revealed to the young Ben (Charlie Tahan) by Megan Fisher (Hope Davis,) the mayor’s wife, principal of Wayward Pines Academy and a former hypnotherapist.

It seems that they are living in the year 4028. Humans have evolved into “abbies” (aberrations) due to a series of genetic mutations, and are now vicious carnivores who dominate a wasted Earth. Wayward Pines is basically an ark to re-introduce and protect the human race. Thus, the human of Wayward Pines had been kept in hibernation chambers for over two thousand years before being reintroduced into the town.

Of course, Ben is socked and we are socked too. It’s impossible to accept this explanation when we saw David Pilcher (Toby Jones,) the scientist who founded Wayward Pines, speaking with FBI agents in the year 2014, and when Theresa Burke (Shannyn Sossamon) had different clues of the existence of Wayward Pines after her husband Ethan’s abduction (Matt Dillon.)

Ben cannot reveal ‘the truth’ to his parents, Theresa and Ethan, if he wants that they keep save. We’ll see. Because Theresa and Ethan will finish discovering the real experiment Dr. Pilcher is doing.

The so-called truth is so stupid I’m hoping it is merely a cover story. There is a danger here that the show is just an example of really bad writing, as so much of Shyamalan’s work has been since The Sixth Sense. Also, I suggest that you run through your articles for typos before you publish them.

yeah, it ended up rubbish. It is the truth, unfortunately it’s just shoddy writing.
