A Great Way to Get a True Taste of Bridgeport!
Bridgeport’s Community Market has a new outdoor home outside the popular Bridgeport Art Center (BAC), 1200 W. 35th St.Beginning Saturday, June 27th, 7am–1pm; it will run every Saturday through October 3rd.
In addition to the best local fruits and vegetables, BAC and local artists will sell hand made jewelry, fashion designs, artwork and more. Don’t forget to bring your dog because FIDO-To-Go will be serving the best dog treats in town! Vendors will occupy approximately 10,000 sq. ft. of the parking lot space leaving ample room for free parking. Visitors will also be able to stroll through BAC’s prize winning Sculpture Garden adjacent to its historic 500,000 sq. ft. building where more than 100 artists and fashion designers have studios.
“We are excited that our farmers market will be more than just a farmers market; it will be a community event for all to visit and enjoy”, said BAC’s Executive Director, Drago Batar.
