Greater Manchester, England, 17th June 2015: Beurer, a leader and innovator in health and wellbeing products, has announced the launch of the GS485 slimline scale. It is the latest addition to its range of stylish and feature-packed designs that combine superb accuracy with the ultimate in convenience and flexibility.
Winner of the Plus X Award 2015 for Quality, Design and Functionality, the GS485 is Bluetooth compatible to allow instant networking with compatible devices. Working alongside Beurer’s HealthManager software, a streamlined and intuitively designed suite of tools to help monitor a range of health and wellbeing data, users can track and view current body weight and detailed history both at home and on the move.
The GS485 offers superb accuracy, allowing users to recognise small changes with ease and help to increase motivation to achieve health and fitness goals. It reports both basal metabolic rate (BMR) and active metabolic rate (AMR) in kcal for at-a-glance energy consumption, BMI calculation provides indication of target weight achievement and with five levels of activity users can configure the scales to a particular lifestyle and typical levels of exercise.
The GS485 also offers an eight memory capacity and automatic user recognition with preset initials displayed on screen. An Athlete mode with five activity levels allows users to configure the scales for more intense levels of activity and quick-start technology helps to avoid that frustrating wait for a device to initialise.
“The GS485 achieves our goal of designing a slimline scale that is minimalist and unassuming yet offers the very latest technology for fast and convenient measurement” said Robert Slade, Sales & Marketing Director for Beurer UK. “Together with our Health Manager software it fulfils a vital role in health and fitness management in a way that’s fast, accurate and convenient, allowing users to keep track of progress both at home and on the move.”
The GS485 is available from Argos, with an RRP of £49.99
