Game Of Thrones Season 5. Why Does Daenerys Targaryen Deserve To Be Queen?

Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen In Game Of Thrones

Game of Thrones season 5. Who will be the king or queen of the Iron Thrones finally? In my opinion, there’s no doubt. The only one who deserves this privilege is Daenerys.

On one hand and of course we can speak about her positive values and her unquestionable rights. Because Dany is the only surviving child of King Aerys II Targaryen, who was ousted from the Iron Throne during Robert’s Rebellion. Therefore, she has legitimate rights to the throne. And in a monarchy this data is critical, because Robert Baratheon and his brothers are usurpers. Robert was king by a coup d’etat. His brothers pretend to be kings winning a war, and they don’t have any personal value to rule Westeros.

However, Daenerys Targaryen has overcome great difficulties showing she is a brave, clever and generous person who could rule a country with wisdom and justice. What are the Lannisters doing? Just the opposite, looking for their own benefits and exploiting the people. What would the Tyrells do? The same. How about Littlefinger? He and Stannis Baratheon are the worst possibilities. Stannis is a cruel and crazy man but Littlefinger is amoral and is ambition is boundless.

On the other hand, Daenerys is the mother of dragons. Then, a miracle happened to show that she’s the one. And remember that religion and sacred beliefs are absolutely important in Game of Thrones. Furthermore, Daenerys with Drogon (her son) are invincible.

**The fifth season of Game of Thrones was ordered by HBO in April 2014. It primarily adapts material from A Feast for Crows and A Dance with Dragons, the fourth and fifth novels in George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series, though it also uses elements from the third novel, A Storm of Swords and material that has not yet taken place in the book series.
