Castle Season 8. Stana Katic And Her New Role. Do You Expect Any Change?

Castle Season 8 is set to premiere in the fall on ABC in its regular Mondays at 10 p.m. ET/PT timeslot. Great! However, many things seem to have been difficult. For example, we waited for many months to see stars Nathan Fillion (who plays as Richard Castle) and above all, Stana Katic (Detective Kate Beckett) signing their new contracts to continue on the show. They finally did in the final weeks of the season 7.

Now, a new problem. Penny Johnson Jerald, the actress who plays Captain Victoria Gates on the crime procedural, will not be returning for season 8. Why? On her Twitter, Jerald wrote: “To my Castle fans around the world, as of late yesterday I am surprised and saddened to learn that I will no longer be a part of the Castle family. Thank you all for your support and love. Hugs from PJJ”.

Surprised? Of course, and fans too. Because the tweet received thousands of retweets and favorites with many outraged Castle fans expressing their irritation over the decision. Thus, what is happening with Castle? Is this decision in relation with David Amann exiting as show runner and being replaced by Terence Paul Winter and Alexi Hawley?

In my opinion and as Castle Season 7 finale hinted, maybe Detective Kate Beckett will choose a political future as senator and her days in the police station will be few. I know Jon Huertas and Seasmus Dever will continue in the show, and they are excessively happy for this news as if they were aware of their insecure situation. In how many episodes will we see them?

Definitely, what is going to happen with Castle future is a surprise. Maybe the show could still have some sort of life ahead for it, Stana Katic is coming back for at least one more season but they say that she only signed a one-year deal. We’ll see!

What do you think about Castle back-the-scenes? Tell us your opinion now!

As the cricket season draws to a close, Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) can report a surge in popularity for guests seeking a full day of luxury hospitality at Lord’s during a Test Match in 2016. In the Home of Cricket’s most iconic venues – the Captains’ Lounge and Marylebone Suite – hospitality packages which included a hearty breakfast, sumptuous four-course lunch and luxury afternoon tea, sold out quickly for the first three days of the England v Sri Lanka and England v Pakistan Investec Test Matches. Private Boxes with the best views of the action for up to 18 guests also sold out fast for the same days. MCC revealed a sharp increase in revenue for its 2016 Sri Lanka Test Match hospitality packages compared with 2014 when the team last played England at Lord’s. Revenues for hospitality were up by nearly 30% over the same period in 2014 whilst private box sale revenues were up by a healthy 60%. Nick Kenton, MCC Head of Sales, Meetings & Events and Hospitality, said: “2016 has been a fantastic year for enjoying a day of cricket whilst experiencing the very best food, drink and hospitality that Lord’s has to offer. “This year’s sales figures show that hospitality packages at Lord’s were in huge demand and continue to be a key part of the summer sporting calendar.” Lord’s also expects high demand for its new hospitality packages, to be released this autumn for 2017 matches. These include England v South Africa from 6th to 10th July and England v West Indies from 7th to 11th September. Packages for the England v Ireland Royal London One-Day International on 7th May 2017 are also expected to sell out in record time. Details of all hospitality options at Lord’s can be found on its website
