Outlander Season 2. Sam Heughan Will Have A Sexy Rival. Who Is Stanley Weber?
Outlander Season 2 is set in Paris, where Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) and his wife Claire (Caitriona Balfe) will try to change the history. There, they’ll meet Bonnie Prince Charlie and will try to stop the Jacobite rebellion.
Two new characters are going to be important. Scottish actor Robert Cavanah is going to play as Jared Fraser, Jamie’s cousin. And sexy French actor Stanley Weber will play as Le Comte St. Germain.
Who is Le Comte St. Germain? In Diana Gabaldon’s books, he is a wine merchant and member of the French Court. He has a reputation for brutality and loves dabbling in the occult. He is not so dreadful as Black Jack Randall but he’s also a bit of a villain. Stanley Weber will appear in most of the episodes that take place in Paris.
Actor Stanley Weber was born on 13 July 1986, in Paris. He is a French actor and theater director best known for his performance as Juan Borgia in the television series Borgia, and for his roles in films The First Day of the Rest of Your Life and Thérèse Desqueyroux.
What do you think about this choice? I prefer a sexy rival than to put up with Black Jack again. I get sick just seeing him!
** Outlander is a British-American TV drama series based on the historical time travel Outlander series of books by Diana Gabaldon. It’s created by Ronald D. Moore and produced by Left Bank Pictures for Starz. On August 15, 2014, Starz renewed the series for a second season of at least 13 episodes, which will be based on Dragonfly in Amber, the second book in Gabaldon’s series.
Outlander’s season 1 finale has so far received positive critics despite some exceptionally dark material.
