Outlander Finale. Sam Heughan’s Performance Was Amazing. From Suffering To Happiness!

Outlander Finale. What to say? We are speechless seeing Sam Heughan’s performance. ‘To Ransom a Man’s Soul’ elevates actor Sam Heughan to the clouds. Now, he is top#1 actor on TV shows! I hope he will be rewarded with Emmys and other honors. He deserves it. The role was absolutely difficult. Don’t you agree? Tell us you opinion now!

Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) was in prison at Wentworth Castle. Black Jack (what a degenerated man!) feels an unhealthy attraction to him. He tortures his body and soul because he wants to possess both. But Jamie has friends and very many people who love him.

Claire, Dougal’s men, MacRannoch, and of course, Murtagh, every decent Scot person is going to collaborate to save Jamie Fraser, our hero. But how to save a destroyed man who wants to die? Sam Heughan’s performance during the torture and posterior despair was astonishing. But his wife Claire (Caitriona Balfe) knows how to help him. Caitriona plays very well too!

I love the moments of understanding between them in the quiet monastery! Jamie loves his wife and can return to this world for her. In fact, he recovers the sense when she wants to die with him, when she wants to accompany him forever, even in the afterlife.

But the finale was not so dark that it could seem. Jamie recovers his smile (and what a smile!) and they escape to Paris. They are happy and Claire is pregnant! Season 2 is coming!

Enjoy your day, Yareah friends. Art is everywhere and up to you!

OMG I so totally agree, Sam Heughan performance was brilliant and he had me so engrossed, I felt the pain and heartbreak it was so emotional had me crying.
So lets hope Sam will get nominated for many awards and win.

I agree with all you have said. If this show and in particular Sam, Cat and Tobias do not get Emmy’s and any other awards available for their outstanding performances and devotion to the project; then there is little justice in the world of acting. The last two episode alone were Oscar worthy and the bravery of the main actors and the wonderful script writers and directors needs to be recognised.
Some of the best episodes in the series were those directed by females. Take note film & TV producers.
The whole series has been so filled with momentous firsts for viewers to savour and such incredible attention to detail and maintaining the true essence of the original source; that I feel privileged to have had the chance to see my favourite book series come to life.
I would also congratulate the casting crew on their wonderfully astute choices for the actors they chose, especially Sam Heughan who is Jamie totally and Caiterina Balfe and the talented Tobias Menzies. I trust they will do equally well in choosing the right actors for series two and I pray and hope that Voyager will also be made in the future. One of my very favourite books in the series.
My only dread is that the long wait for series two will loose viewers that are not fully appreciative of how wonderful and diverse these books are. I believe the series will be well worth the wait.
I urge others to stay with it and be rewarded in the end.

From beginning to end this series has set new standards in television drama. Brilliant and sensitive adaptation from the books so kudos to the screen writers as well as all “techies” on the crew. Magnificent costuming, makeup, and set-dressing. Exquisite camera work and seamless editing. Excellent continuity of story. A cast of actors so perfect in each role, surely it must be magic! Bring on Season 2 because Je suis prest!
