Aquarius TV Show. Charles Manson, Generation Gap And Racial Problems.

On May 28 2015, we saw the first two episodes of Aquarius by NBC. Aquarius is an American drama TV show starring David Duchovny as Sergeant Sam Hodiak. In 1967, in Los Angeles, Hodiak will be helped in a missing people case by undercover officer Brian Shafe (Grey Damon), who behaves like a hippie and fits in with the people being questioned. Their investigation will lead them to Charles Manson. Scaring and thrilling!

What did it happen in the 60’s with young people? Why did their rebellion bring so many problems? It was the time of Vietnam War, Nixon, drugs and slogans about freedom. A time of change!

Pretty Emma Dumont plays the role as Emma Karn, a young and dissatisfied girl. Who is her father? A coward who worked as Charles Manson’s lawyer years ago. Despite her welfare, Emma hates her family and prefers to flee and go into a hippie commune where nothing good can happen. The leader is Manson (Gethin Anthony.)

In the 60’s, young people were trying to build a new world. Peace and love. But unscrupulous people took advantage of them while their families were worried making money, easy money full of sufferings.

In fact, nobody was comfortable and families began a career of divorces and misunderstandings. Sergeant Sam Hodiak wasn’t an exception. His son deserted the army while his wife lives in the world of illusion that provide drugs. Problems? For sure. His family collapses while he is trying to save others.

How about Brian Shafe? A friendly young man married with a black woman. He is defending a system that does not accept his love.
How will the characters evolve? Complicated!

Anyway, Aquarius is a very interesting TV show. Don’t miss it! It’s worth!

Enjoy your day, Yareah friends. Art is everywhere and up to you!
