Kristian Wright, Managing Director of Inbay, a provider of high-quality white label NOC and technical service desk support to managed service providers (MSPs), has been elected Vice Chair of CompTIA’s UK Channel Community (UKCC) Executive Council.
A member of CompTIA’s UKCC Executive Council since January 2015, this new appointment further strengthens Kristian’s commitment to the international, not-for-profit IT trade organisation. CompTIA invests substantially in IT education, certification, advocacy and philanthropy, helping IT companies worldwide to become more successful – from the largest vendors through to small, niche businesses and IT professionals.
Elected by his fellow UKCC Executive Council members, Kristian will serve as Vice Chair for two years. Working closely with the Chair of the Executive Council, and supported by Council members, he will act as an industry leader for the Community and will help to set the overall strategic direction. He will also be working closely with CompTIA staff to ensure community needs are met.
“I have been a member of CompTIA since 2009 and as MD of a growing global organisation, I have benefitted from the wide range of resources they offer – as well as from the opportunity to network with and learn from my industry peers,” says Kristian. “CompTIA is a leading voice in the IT industry and I am delighted with my appointment as Vice Chair, which will enable me to put forward and progress UK channel initiatives and ensure that these result in practical, usable guidance for all IT businesses.”
Staff leader for CompTIA’s UK Channel Community Estelle Johannes says: “I am very excited to have Kristian Wright as our new Vice Chair of the Executive Council. His knowledge and experience in the industry is a great asset to the council – and indeed to the UK Community. It is a privilege to have a Vice Chair who is so passionate about growing and nurturing the channel. I am looking forward to working with Kristian in his new capacity.”
