Scandal Season 5. Is Olivia Pope Truly Free? Who Are Her Next Enemies?

Scandal Season 4 finale was exciting, very well concluded. Now, Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) has defeated her enemies, from her horrible father, Rowan Pope (Joe Morton), to her problematic mentor Cyrus (Jeff Perry). What is more, Mellie Grant, First Lady of US (Bellamy Young), was expelled from White House and President Fitzgerald Grant (Tony Goldwyn) is free to start a healthy relationship with her. No more secrets, no more lies… Now, President Fitz can say to the world that he is in love with Liv. Great!

Then, what will be the new mythology? Scandal Season 5 needs new intrigues. Audience will be bored seeing the eternal love of Olivia and Fitz.

Elizabeth North (Portia de Rossi) is the new Chief of Staff and she is everything except a good person. In fact, she is a traitor and the responsible for the expulsion of Mellie from the White House. What does she want? Of course, to be the new President of The United Sates. Thus, she is a major enemy of Fitz, although he doesn’t know yet. And how about Mellie Grant? She is not a woman who forgives and will try her revenge against North.

In fact, Elizabeth North will be a main character in Season 5. But a character surrounded by enemies. Cyrus getting fired by her cause was totally unexpected. He practically runs the country! What he will do against Elizabeth to recover his position? Soon or later, Fitz will need him, and Cyrus will need Rowan Pope. I think he won’t be at prison for long.

Furthermore, it seems that a new gladiator will join Olivia’s team. Very necessary because Huck (Guillermo Diaz) and Quinn (Katie Lowes) seems to have lost their heads. How about Abby (Darby Stanchfield) returning to the team? That will be great! Don’t you think so? I love this character.

And what do you expect from Jake Ballard (Scott Foley)? Will he disappear in Season 5. It will be a shame but maybe his story concluded.

Definitely, Olivia Pope will be surrounded by the same old enemies, who are now angrier and then, are more dangerous.

As the cricket season draws to a close, Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) can report a surge in popularity for guests seeking a full day of luxury hospitality at Lord’s during a Test Match in 2016. In the Home of Cricket’s most iconic venues – the Captains’ Lounge and Marylebone Suite – hospitality packages which included a hearty breakfast, sumptuous four-course lunch and luxury afternoon tea, sold out quickly for the first three days of the England v Sri Lanka and England v Pakistan Investec Test Matches. Private Boxes with the best views of the action for up to 18 guests also sold out fast for the same days. MCC revealed a sharp increase in revenue for its 2016 Sri Lanka Test Match hospitality packages compared with 2014 when the team last played England at Lord’s. Revenues for hospitality were up by nearly 30% over the same period in 2014 whilst private box sale revenues were up by a healthy 60%. Nick Kenton, MCC Head of Sales, Meetings & Events and Hospitality, said: “2016 has been a fantastic year for enjoying a day of cricket whilst experiencing the very best food, drink and hospitality that Lord’s has to offer. “This year’s sales figures show that hospitality packages at Lord’s were in huge demand and continue to be a key part of the summer sporting calendar.” Lord’s also expects high demand for its new hospitality packages, to be released this autumn for 2017 matches. These include England v South Africa from 6th to 10th July and England v West Indies from 7th to 11th September. Packages for the England v Ireland Royal London One-Day International on 7th May 2017 are also expected to sell out in record time. Details of all hospitality options at Lord’s can be found on its website
