Alexis and Richard Castle in Castle Season 7.

Today, on May 11 2015, we’ll see Castle Season 7 finale titled “Hollander’s Woods.” Finally, it seems that we’ll know the turning point of the young Richard Castle’s life (Nathan Fillion). That point which made him the mystery author that he is now.

And how about Detective Kate Beckett (Stana Katic)? She will face her destiny but everything will be possible because her future in the series is enigmatic.

We know that Castle Season 8 was renewed and Nathan Fillion will be starring again. We also know that “State of Affairs” creator Alexi Hawley, who worked as a writer and producer on early seasons of “Castle,” will serve as co-showrunner with Terence Paul Winter. But Stana Katic is still up in the air, because she hasn’t yet reached an agreement to return.

Recently, show creator Andrew Marlowe said: “We wanted to make sure that the fans had some sense of resolution and some sense of good feeling about the characters, so we’re really satisfied.”

Thus, if Stana Katic doesn’t renew her contract, we’ll see her farewell in one way or another. Be prepared! But we think it will be a nice farewell.

Now, the question is about Nathan Fillion’s co-star. Who will be his couple now? Writers must think seriously about it. It’s difficult to replace Stana Katic as Detective Kate Beckett, because she and Richard Castle have made the loveliest couple on TV during seven seasons.

Thus and until a new cute girl will appear on the show, maybe we’ll need to see some episodes with an off Richard, seeking whom he can rely. I think his daughter Alexis (Molly Quinn) should have a more important role. She and her father could make a fun team and solve some mystery together. Don’t you think so? Tell us your opinion now!

“Castle” was among 20-plus renewals over at ABC this week.

Without a Beckett the show goes no where. Either have a replacement for Stana or her. Stana would be great.

As the cricket season draws to a close, Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) can report a surge in popularity for guests seeking a full day of luxury hospitality at Lord’s during a Test Match in 2016. In the Home of Cricket’s most iconic venues – the Captains’ Lounge and Marylebone Suite – hospitality packages which included a hearty breakfast, sumptuous four-course lunch and luxury afternoon tea, sold out quickly for the first three days of the England v Sri Lanka and England v Pakistan Investec Test Matches. Private Boxes with the best views of the action for up to 18 guests also sold out fast for the same days. MCC revealed a sharp increase in revenue for its 2016 Sri Lanka Test Match hospitality packages compared with 2014 when the team last played England at Lord’s. Revenues for hospitality were up by nearly 30% over the same period in 2014 whilst private box sale revenues were up by a healthy 60%. Nick Kenton, MCC Head of Sales, Meetings & Events and Hospitality, said: “2016 has been a fantastic year for enjoying a day of cricket whilst experiencing the very best food, drink and hospitality that Lord’s has to offer. “This year’s sales figures show that hospitality packages at Lord’s were in huge demand and continue to be a key part of the summer sporting calendar.” Lord’s also expects high demand for its new hospitality packages, to be released this autumn for 2017 matches. These include England v South Africa from 6th to 10th July and England v West Indies from 7th to 11th September. Packages for the England v Ireland Royal London One-Day International on 7th May 2017 are also expected to sell out in record time. Details of all hospitality options at Lord’s can be found on its website
