Vikings Season 3 & Lagertha. Who Will She Choose? Ragnar Or Rollo?

Vikings Season 3 Finale. Everybody was expecting Ragnar Lothbrok’s death. The attack to Paris in the episode titled ‘To the Gates!’ was a failure, and Bjorn, Rollo and Ragnar were seriously injured while Floki was consumed by his guilt, having trusted by omens of their gods of certain victory. However, in ‘Breaking Point’, Bjorn and Rollo were gradually recovered but Ragnar vomited blood and repeated that his death was near. His appearance was not good at all!

In this circumstances and since Vikings Season 3 finale was titled ‘The Dead’, followers were thinking about the possibility of Ragnar’s death. Then, Vikings Season 4 would be starred by Lagertha and Rollo, who is so important as Ragnar in Norse mythology.

Ragnar is still alive and we’ll see him in season 4. But how long? I think it’s a good idea to start the upcoming season with Ragnar and prepare carefully his assassination. He could die after visiting King Ecbert of Wessex, maybe thrown into a pit of snakes like the legendary sources say. Thus, his son Bjorn would try to avenge this treason and new ways would be open for the plot. In fact, Ragnar’s story is closed, but Rollo’s adventures are about to start.

Rollo is in France. He has the opportunity to marry Princess Gisla and get Normandy disobeying King Ragnar’s orders. Who will do Lagertha? She has always been loyal to Ragnar. Remember that Rollo loved Lagertha years ago, and it would be absolutely thrilling to see the fight between them for political reasons but also for romantic memories. Also, Lagertha facing Princess Gisla would be interesting. Two brave women (and actresses) and Rollo between them. Don’t you think so? Tell us your opinion now!

When Ragnar abandoned his projects in Britain to attack Paris, it was a neat demonstration of typical Viking ambition and ruthlessness. All-in-all Ragnar is not only the main character but a very compelling one. It would be a shame to lose him from the series.

As the cricket season draws to a close, Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) can report a surge in popularity for guests seeking a full day of luxury hospitality at Lord’s during a Test Match in 2016. In the Home of Cricket’s most iconic venues – the Captains’ Lounge and Marylebone Suite – hospitality packages which included a hearty breakfast, sumptuous four-course lunch and luxury afternoon tea, sold out quickly for the first three days of the England v Sri Lanka and England v Pakistan Investec Test Matches. Private Boxes with the best views of the action for up to 18 guests also sold out fast for the same days. MCC revealed a sharp increase in revenue for its 2016 Sri Lanka Test Match hospitality packages compared with 2014 when the team last played England at Lord’s. Revenues for hospitality were up by nearly 30% over the same period in 2014 whilst private box sale revenues were up by a healthy 60%. Nick Kenton, MCC Head of Sales, Meetings & Events and Hospitality, said: “2016 has been a fantastic year for enjoying a day of cricket whilst experiencing the very best food, drink and hospitality that Lord’s has to offer. “This year’s sales figures show that hospitality packages at Lord’s were in huge demand and continue to be a key part of the summer sporting calendar.” Lord’s also expects high demand for its new hospitality packages, to be released this autumn for 2017 matches. These include England v South Africa from 6th to 10th July and England v West Indies from 7th to 11th September. Packages for the England v Ireland Royal London One-Day International on 7th May 2017 are also expected to sell out in record time.
