Vikings Season 3. What do you know about Loki? He’s always irreverent and nihilistic, different and funny! Today, ten things about Loki.

1.- In Norse mythology, Loki is the wily trickster personality.

2.- Loki occupies a highly ambivalent and solitary position amongst the gods, giants, and the other classes of invisible beings.

3.- In fact, his father is the giant Farbauti (Cruel Striker), and his mother, Laufey (Tree), could be a goddess or a giantess.

4.- Loki sometimes assists the gods and sometimes causes problems for them. He is puckish and independent! He makes fun of everything and everyone. We could compare him with the Greek god Dionisios.

5.- He’s always irreverent and nihilistic. He doesn’t distinguish right from wrong, and sometimes he even goes against the rules of nature.

6.- Loki has the ability to change their physical form at will. He appears in the form of a salmon, mare, seal, a fly, and an elderly woman. Loki is father and mother… A very confused being!

7.- For example, by his wife Sigyn, Loki is the father of Narfi and Nari. But Loki is also the mother, giving birth in the form of a mare, to the eight-legged horse Sleipnir.

8.- Loki never missed an opportunity to take advantage of any Goddess, and to cheat dwarves. He never stands still or standing.

9.- Anyway, his tricks came to an end after causing the death of Baldur (a champion of goodness, innocence and forgiveness). Afterwards, he was trapped in eternal punishment.

10.- In the Poetic Edda, Loki appears (or is referenced) in the poems Völuspá, Lokasenna, Þrymskviða, Reginsmál, Baldrs draumar, and Hyndluljóð.

In Vikings Season 3, it seems that Floki (played by Swedish actor Gustaf Skarsgard) has a special relation with this peculiar God. Thus, we’ll see

Floki’s evolution in the upcoming episodes. Absolutely interesting!

Enjoy your day, Yareah friends. Art is everywhere and up to you. Vikings Season 3 rocks!

As the cricket season draws to a close, Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) can report a surge in popularity for guests seeking a full day of luxury hospitality at Lord’s during a Test Match in 2016. In the Home of Cricket’s most iconic venues – the Captains’ Lounge and Marylebone Suite – hospitality packages which included a hearty breakfast, sumptuous four-course lunch and luxury afternoon tea, sold out quickly for the first three days of the England v Sri Lanka and England v Pakistan Investec Test Matches. Private Boxes with the best views of the action for up to 18 guests also sold out fast for the same days. MCC revealed a sharp increase in revenue for its 2016 Sri Lanka Test Match hospitality packages compared with 2014 when the team last played England at Lord’s. Revenues for hospitality were up by nearly 30% over the same period in 2014 whilst private box sale revenues were up by a healthy 60%. Nick Kenton, MCC Head of Sales, Meetings & Events and Hospitality, said: “2016 has been a fantastic year for enjoying a day of cricket whilst experiencing the very best food, drink and hospitality that Lord’s has to offer. “This year’s sales figures show that hospitality packages at Lord’s were in huge demand and continue to be a key part of the summer sporting calendar.” Lord’s also expects high demand for its new hospitality packages, to be released this autumn for 2017 matches. These include England v South Africa from 6th to 10th July and England v West Indies from 7th to 11th September. Packages for the England v Ireland Royal London One-Day International on 7th May 2017 are also expected to sell out in record time.
