Network Computing Awards

Excel Networking Solutions, the copper and optical cabling infrastructure provider, has been voted as Cabling Supplier of the Year for a fifth year in a row, in the highly respected Network Computing Awards 2015.

The Network Computing Awards, which took place on 19th March in London, have been running for 9 years and are particularly meaningful as they are voted for by the readers of Network Computing magazine – the people who use the products every day. They were set up to recognise the companies, products and services in the industry that have most impressed the readers.

The organisers commented ‘The number of new winners this year demonstrated just how hard it is for champions to retain their crowns. So cabling supplier, Excel deserve a special mention for continuing their incredible winning streak.’

Tracey Calcutt, Marketing Manager said ‘We are really pleased to win the award for a fifth year running, we believe it reflects the ongoing growth and success of the brand across EMEA. We continue to develop the brand and since January 2015 we have added new products such as the Excelerator range of pre-terminated fibre assemblies, new Desktop Power Units and Intelligent PDUs.’

Tracey concluded ‘I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that voted for Excel and also thank our staff and Excel partners for their hard work and continued support in building the brand.’

The award was presented by Ian Irving (pictured left) and Ray Smyth (pictured right) and collected by Excel’s Dean Girling, Infrastructure Account Director, Helen Wadsworth, Business Development Manager and Jeff Wakeling, Director of Sales – South.
