World-renowned chef announces second Jamie’s Italian to launch at Harbour City, early summer 2015
(Hong Kong, 24 March 2015) Today Jamie Oliver arrived in Hong Kong delivering a special announcement for Jamie’s Italian fans and Italian cuisine lovers.
Visiting the city to spend time at his flagship restaurant in Causeway Bay, Jamie Oliver has announced that Jamie’s Italian will be expanding with the opening of a second site at Harbour City this summer.
With the aim of bringing his delicious Italian dishes to more people in Hong Kong, the exciting news comes directly from the popular chef himself, who is currently spending quality time with his staff, as well as recruiting new staff for the second restaurant in Tsim Sha Tsui.
Opening in May this year, the Harbour City restaurant will include the brands signature fun, relaxed atmosphere with a warm neighbourhood feel as well as design elements to reflect the surrounding area and many other surprises. Favourites such as Jamie’s Italian anti-pasti planks and fresh pastas of Fresh Crab Spagettini, Squid Ink Spaghetti and Truffle Tagliatelle will remain as menu staples as well as infamous desserts including the Epic Brownie and Tiramisù. Delicious new additions will also be added to the menu including a mouth-watering Lobster dish and much anticipated Jamie’s Italian signature pizzas to thrill foodies and pizza lovers around town.

Jamie Oliver is looking to grow the Jamie’s Italian family by recruiting nearly a hundred positions at the new restaurant in Harbour City. With a range of roles available including Host/Hostess, Seater, Waiter/Waitress, Busser, Bartender, Service Chef, Chef de Partie, Commis Chef and Administrator, candidates will be selected due to their energetic, fun and positive outlook as well as possessing drive and a willingness to learn.
