Austin & Ally star Laura Marano & her upcoming film: ‘A Sort of Homecoming. Ten things you should know.

1.- Laura Marano was born on November 29, 1995, in Los Angeles, California. She is an actress and singer.

2.- She began her career starring in ‘Without a Trace’ for three seasons and also in ‘Back to You.’ She played the daughter of the main characters.

3.- ‘Austin & Ally’ is an American teen sitcom which first aired on the Disney Channel on December 2, 2011. It stars Ross Lynch and Laura Marano.

4.- ‘Austin & Ally’ is a great success. In fact, the show was officially renewed for a fourth season on April 25, 2014 and premiered on January 18, 2015.

5.- But on February 6, 2015, Laura Marano stated that Season 4 will be the last season of the show. Thus, our pretty actress and singer has new projects now: ‘A Sort of Homecoming.’

“Working on ‘Austin and Ally’ has been an absolute dream! We literally have fun every single day! Whether it’s scaring each other or singing together or just hanging out in each other’s dressing rooms, the cast and I are super close! I feel really lucky to be with everyone on our set!” Laura Marano.

6.- ‘A Sort of Homecoming’ tells the story of Amy (actress Michelle Clunie), a New York news producer. She thought she had left her high school experiences long in the past. However, through a series of flashbacks, we follow young Amy (Laura Marano) on the highly competitive national debate and competitors from top high schools as well as the college coaches who control access to valuable scholarships.

7.- ‘A Sort of Homecoming’ is directed by Maria Burton.
