Bench are proud to announce Grammy award winner Jess Glynne as brand ambassador. The partnership coincides with the launch of Glynne’s own sound and brand new album.

Lifestyle brand Bench are to host an opening party at the new Munich office with a live performance from Jess Glynne at the end of April.

Jess Glynne is the voice of 2015 with over 7.5 million worldwide single sales in the past year. “Rather Be”, her collaboration with Clean Bandit, sold over 3 million singles and was the most streamed track of 2014. That track followed her number 1 chart debut with the Route 94 song “My Love”.

Jess launched her solo career with the Top Ten UK single “Right Here”, which she then followed with another chart topping collaboration with Clean Bandit on the song “Real Love”. In February this year the British singer from London won a Grammy Award for “Rather Be” with Clean Bandit and was nominated for three BRIT Awards. With her exceptional soul voice she is now concentrating on her solo career and new single “Hold My Hand” is expected to top the UK charts when it launches on 22nd March 2015. Her studio album is slated for mid 2015.

Jess Glynne: “Working with the Bench team is an exciting process and really fun. I am very happy to show the brand and the lifestyle of Bench through great joint projects.”

Bench will celebrate the official opening party for it’s new Munich showroom on 29th April. The Fashion brand, which is active in 34 countries, is present in central Munich on an approximately 3,000 square meter surface. The new office represents a second headquarters additional to Manchester.

Bruno Salzer, Chairman & CEO of Bench: “Jess Glynne is young, modern, urban, stylish and the perfect match for Bench.”

As the cricket season draws to a close, Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) can report a surge in popularity for guests seeking a full day of luxury hospitality at Lord’s during a Test Match in 2016. In the Home of Cricket’s most iconic venues – the Captains’ Lounge and Marylebone Suite – hospitality packages which included a hearty breakfast, sumptuous four-course lunch and luxury afternoon tea, sold out quickly for the first three days of the England v Sri Lanka and England v Pakistan Investec Test Matches. Private Boxes with the best views of the action for up to 18 guests also sold out fast for the same days. MCC revealed a sharp increase in revenue for its 2016 Sri Lanka Test Match hospitality packages compared with 2014 when the team last played England at Lord’s. Revenues for hospitality were up by nearly 30% over the same period in 2014 whilst private box sale revenues were up by a healthy 60%. Nick Kenton, MCC Head of Sales, Meetings & Events and Hospitality, said: “2016 has been a fantastic year for enjoying a day of cricket whilst experiencing the very best food, drink and hospitality that Lord’s has to offer. “This year’s sales figures show that hospitality packages at Lord’s were in huge demand and continue to be a key part of the summer sporting calendar.” Lord’s also expects high demand for its new hospitality packages, to be released this autumn for 2017 matches. These include England v South Africa from 6th to 10th July and England v West Indies from 7th to 11th September. Packages for the England v Ireland Royal London One-Day International on 7th May 2017 are also expected to sell out in record time.
