If you got engaged on Valentine’s Day, or a proposal is in the pipeline, you might be interested in Lot 50 (est £30,000 – 40,000). A fine diamond solitaire ring, with the central Edwardian old claw set stone an impressive 5.15ct (approx) and flanked by diamond shoulders.
There is a great deal of excitement on the watch front too, with a ladies circa 1960s 18ct gold Rolex Precision dress ring, boxed on offer (Lot 34). Along with a WW2 era military issued Cyma wristwatch, stainless steel case, black dial Arabic chapter ring with sub-seconds dial, case marked ‘P22350, 27350’, later strap.
Two distinctive pieces from the Victorian era will make an appearance in the sale. Giving a real sense of the history behind them, they would make a valuable and beautiful addition to any jewellery collection.
A fine Victorian gold, opal and diamond cluster pendant / brooch, with removable pin and gold rope twist chain, fitted box will be lighting up the auction room (lot 40).
A Victorian gold crescent bar brooch, set with diamonds and rubies and centred with a pearl (lot 7).
