NEW YORK, NY. January 9, 2015. Storefront for Art and Architecture announced today the opening of BLUEPRINT, an exhibition of 50 works by artists and architects on a trip of self-reflection in the literal and metaphorical form of a blueprint. With works by a diverse group of voices from Adamo Faiden, Alix Lambent, Vik Muniz, Reiser-Umemoto to Vito Acconci, BLUEPRINT is an exhibition bound by aporias.
Curated by Sebastiaan Bremer, Florian Idenburg and Jing Liu with an installation by SO-IL, BLUEPRINT leaves the gallery totally open, yet perpetually closed and fixed. Wrapped in time and in space, the Acconci-Holl façade opens its doors permanently to the works that -while present in the show by reference- are outside the gallery walls.
The exhibition opens in Storefront’s New York gallery at 97 Kenmare Street on January 23, 2015 at 7pm.
A press preview of the exhibition will take place on January 23, 2015 at 6pm. RSVP to
