‘The Hobbit 3’ cast. Thranduil is one of my favorite characters in The Hobbit by J. R. R. Tolkien. He is beardless, tall, and grey-eyed like all of the Sindar.
In the autumn, Thranduil wears a crown made of red leaves and berries, and a similar crown of flowers in the spring.
