Game of Thrones Season 5 has a lot of mysteries. We know that most of the season is shot in Andalucía, Spain, because this land is similar to Westeros.

Remember that Westeros has enjoyed an unusually long summer of peace and plenty (although many fear that an equally long winter will follow it.)

Thus, , Westeros is going to be very important in Season 5. In fact, Fresco Film and International Casting Moderxpor chose about 2,500 extras (half men, half women) with black hair and without wicks or dreadlocks in Andalusia.

We also know, some new characters who we’ll be important in Season 5.

And some days ago, we had a first preview clip, which shows a beardy Tyrion Lannister, a worried Cersei Lannister and a distressed Arya Stark. But how about Lady Stoneheart?

The Season 4 finale, ‘The Children,’ failed to unveil this book character that many fans have been anticipating since Game of Thrones Season 3.

Lady Stoneheart is Catelyn Tully, or Catelyn Stark, resurrected by Lord Beric Dondarrion (who gives his life for hers) three days after the ‘Red Wedding.’

However, Catelyn’s wounds are only partially healed, leaving her mutilated and without the ability to speak. Furthermore, death has changed Catelyn. Now, she is consumed with a desire for vengeance on anyone she thinks betrayed her and her son, Robb Stark.

Precisely, Lady Stoneheart makes her first appearance in the epilogue of ‘A Storm of Swords,’ the book on which most of Season 3 and 4 were based. But season 4 finished ignoring her. Why?

Actress Michelle Fairley (she played as Catelyn Stark in Game of Thrones) said that Lady Stoneheart is not imperative to the overarching narrative, and we should respect the writers decision.

“They can’t stick to the books 100 percent. It’s impossible — they only have 10 hours per season. They have got to keep it dramatic and exciting, and extraneous stuff along the way gets lost in order to maintain the quality of the brilliant show.”

Thus, it seems that we won’t meet Lady Stoneheart in Game of Thrones Season 5. In Season 4, too many frames already begun and they have to evolve and conclude. Also, Alex Graves, director of Season 4 finale, said that Lady Stoneheart was never planned to be included in Season 4 or 5.

Lamentably, Lady Stoneheart may not be able to fit into the show in terms of time and story structure. A shame!
