Queen Letizia of Spain. This week, we saw the Christmas greeting of the Spanish Royal Family. Austere and intelligent!
King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia chose two photos of their proclamation as king and queen of Spain on 19 June 2014 following the abdication of King Juan Carlos I.
In one of the photos, we see King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia with their nice daughters, Leonor and Sofia, at the foot of the stairs of Spanish Parliament. What a lovely family!
The other shows them greeting people from the balcony of the Royal Palace in Madrid.
Of course, both are two important moments for recent Spanish history, and I think it’s a good idea to show them in these official pictures.

However and as usual, some Spanish newspapers have criticized that these photos are ‘recycled’ material, forgetting the fact of the great economic crisis that many Spanish citizens are suffering. What would they want? Queen Letizia with an expensive new design while most Spaniards will have to ‘recycle’ their costumes for New Year’s Eve. I really like Letizia’s empathy for her people. She is a really intelligent woman no doubt.

Remember that before her marriage to Felipe, Letizia was a famous journalist and news anchor.
Enjoy your day, Yareah friends. Art is everywhere and up to you. Christmas are coming!
