Ending off the year with a new milestone in its global expansion journey, Tink Labs Limited, the Hong Kong based technology incubation company, announces the launch of its innovative in-room solution, handy in cities across Europe and Southeast Asia. handy’s entry into these new territories will make the integrated mobile phone solution for travelers available in destinations such as Paris, Turkey, Bangkok and Phuket, offering hotel guests unlimited 3G internet, local and international calls and city guides with recommendations on the best attractions and hot spots from travel and lifestyle experts in each city.
Following its tremendous successes in Hong Kong and Singapore, handy anticipates a rapid growth of its Eurasia network with its launches at properties managed by world renowned hotel brands: Starwood, Hyatt, Dorsett and Minor Hotel Group in these regions. From these groups new partnering hotels include Anantara Phuket, Anantara Riverside Bangkok, W Istanbul hotel, The Shangri-La in Paris and The Greathotels Paris group.

handy’s expansions come only a few months following the announcement of its strategic partnership with TCL Communication Technology Holdings Limited, the designer and manufacturer of ALCATEL ONETOUCH, who made an investment of 2618.HK in the company earlier this year. In the past 17 months, Tink Labs has raised over US$21.05 million from both institutional and private investors to continue R&D and sales, into key tourist destinations around the globe.
