1.- Since 2012, he has portrayed Adam Sackler on the HBO series Girls.

2.- Adam Douglas Driver was born on November 19, 1983 in San Diego, California, and moved to the town of Mishawaka, Indiana, where he was raised.

3.- He had a religious upbringing, and sang in choir at church.

4.- He attended Mishawaka High School, where he graduated in 2001.

5.- Adam Driver joined the United States Marine Corps, where he served for two years and eight months.

“I never played sports or got into the whole guy camaraderie of, like, ‘I love you, man! Seniors forever!’ So suddenly being in the military with these guys who were under these very heightened circumstances, isolated from their families, living this very kind of Greek lifestyle, it changed my life in a really big way.” Adam Driver.

6.- Afterwards, he attended the University of Indianapolis for a year before transferring to the Juilliard School to study drama.

“At Juilliard, suddenly I was reading these great plays that could articulate the ways I was feeling in the Marine Corps, and that felt very therapeutic, by putting words to feelings, in a big way.” Adam Driver.

7.- He began acting in New York City.

8.- On November 21, 2013, Driver was announced to be joining the cast of Jeff Nichols’ Midnight Special, and on January 13, 2014, he was added to the cast of Martin Scorsese’s film, Silence.

9.- On 6 September 2014, Adam Driver won the Volpi Cup for Best Actor at the 71st Venice International Film Festival his work in Hungry Hearts by Saverio Constanzo.

10.- He runs a non-profit organization, Arts in the Armed Forces. It stages performances for military personnel.
