Koç University receives CEMS School of the Year Award
The Graduate School of Business at Koç University, Istanbul, has been named as the CEMS Alliance School of the Year, at a ceremony in Brussels last week.
Prof. Zeynep Gürhan Canlı, CEMS Executive Director of Koç University, says; “Considering that Koç University has been a member of the 26 year old CEMS Alliance for just five years, this is an outstanding achievement. I truly believe that this award is a confirmation of how Turkey, both in terms of the talents and dynamic emerging market outlook, contributes to the international business management arena.”
CEMS is a global alliance comprising 29 of the world’s most prestigious business schools, including Koç University. Its Master’s in International Management programme allows participants to study at different member schools, equipping them with skills to succeed in international markets. The programme has consistently placed within the top 10 of the Financial Times rankings for the past nine years.
Each year, the CEMS Alliance awards its academic members in seven categories, based on the results of a student satisfaction survey. Koç was also awarded the title of ‘’Course of the Year’’.

I am from Germany and graduated from CEMS MIM Program at Koç University, Istanbul Turkey, which contributed a lot to the diverse mindset I have acquired at the programme.’’
