Ancient Women Artists. Still Live by Anne Vallayer-Coster (18th century). Enjoy this video based on the book ‘The Oil Girls’ by Isabel del Rio. It’s worth!
Anne Vallayer-Coster (December 21, 1744 – February 28, 1818) was an 18th-century French painter. She had highly developed skills, especially in the depiction of flowers and fruits. Queen Marie Antoinette took a particular interest in her paintings, and she was admitted to the Académie Royale de Peinture et de Sculpture (Academy of Fine Arts) in 1770, at the age of twenty-six.
After the French Revolution and the fall of the French monarchy, her reputation declined. A shame and very unfair!

“The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place: from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web.” Pablo Picasso.
Enjoy your day, Yareah friends. Art is everywhere and up to you! Fall is exciting!
