Anderman Ceramics’ team supporting Macmillan
Coffee morning at Anderman Ceramics raises hundreds!
All the staff at Anderman & Company showed off their culinary skills, and baking abilities as they held their first Coffee & Cake morning during the month of September in aid of the Macmillan Cancer Trust, a fundraising event that sweeps the entire country.
Gary Hateley, Global Sales Manager was the enthusiastic promoter of this Macmillan Coffee morning and the entire team followed him.
Invites were extended to customers, local businesses, friends and family to attend the event held at Anderman Ceramics’ headquarters in Kidderminster. The staff excelled in their efforts as a variety of tasty treats was proudly placed on display.
Global Sales Manager, Gary Hateley described the event “as a huge success, and one all the team should be proud of”. Some of the cakes on display included a coffee and walnut cake, 2 types of Quiche, a refrigerator cake, a “Bolo Marmore” cake (our Portuguese entrant), lemon drizzle cake, homemade scones and rocky roads amongst others… a fantastic amount of almost £300 was raised to help Macmillan Cancer support!
To further extend the fundraising endeavours, Gary has entered the Birmingham half marathon to be held in October. His primary objective, of course, is to raise as much money as possible for such a worthwhile course, as well as providing the perfect platform to burn off all those extra calories enjoyed during the Coffee and Cake morning .
Anderman Ceramics is proud to have someone like Gary Hateley as part of its team, as driven and dedicated to humanitarian causes as he is in business.
More to follow on how much has been raised and how Gary got on during the run.
Anderman Ceramics and its team, supporting honourable causes!
