AuthorCraft Offers Advice to Surrey Writers
Aspiring authors in Surrey are being given the chance to receive crucial advice from the national writer’s groupAuthorCraft at their latest ‘Business Book Club’ meeting in Guildford on Monday 29 September 2014.
The meeting, which is held at the Mandolay Hotel on London Road from 6:00 – 9:00pm, provides a valuable networking opportunity between like-minded individuals and can offer a unique insight into the publishing industry.
The group will feature a special guest appearance from social media expert Nicky Kriel, and will offer aspiring writers the chance to quiz a panel of experts on the best ways to make a career out of writing.
Nicky Kriel is the author of the best-selling book ‘How to Twitter for Business Success’, and has been featured in national publications such as the Guardian and the Daily Telegraph.
Group leader Richard White, a Surrey resident and published author, is excited to see how this month’s meeting can build on the successes of previous groups.
He said, “When we started this branch of the AuthorCraft programme in June I never expected it to take off in the way it has done.
“We have continually had over 20 people attending these meetings, and we have been lucky enough to hear from some incredible speakers.
“I would strongly urge anyone who is considering a career in writing to come along, meet some wonderful people and learn how to make as much money as they can doing what they love.”
The Surrey branch of AuthorCraft was formed on the back of other successful ventures in Nottingham, Croydon, London Euston and Stevenage, and the same successes are being repeated in Guildford.
The event will also be supported by Surrey-based Public Relations firm Famous Publicity.
Tickets are still available at a cost of £15, and those interested can sign up for the event athttps://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/authorcraft-surrey-using-soci….
