Hell on Wheels season 4 episode ‘Bear Man’ was fantastic but also, a little strange. The whole episode focused on Elam Ferguson and his life with the Comanche. What will happen on Saturday?

Cullen Bohannon & Elam Ferguson in Hell on Wheels

We loved to see Elam alive. He was one of the main characters in Hell on Wheels seasons 1, 2, and 3. And we needed Elam Ferguson (actor Common) in Hell on Wheels season 4. In fact, AMC had cheated us a little, because Common didn’t appear in the credits during the first episodes of Hell on Wheels season 4, and we had started to believe he had died (killed by a bear while he was trying to rescue Cullen Bohannon from the Mormon Fort) at the end of season 3. Then, fantastic to see Elam alive! It was a sad end for such a character: Cullen Bohannon best friend and alter-ego.

However, ‘Bear Man’ episode was strange too. No reference to Cullen Bohannon, Mr Durant or The Swede. Normally, episodes mix the stories of all these characters. Thus, it seems that ‘Bear Man’ was filmed like a ‘special gift’ for fans because, in fact, AMC didn’t want Elam Ferguson in season 4. (Remember that fans have been strongly asking for his return).

Here, Yareah poll about the subject.

What will happen now? ‘Bear Man’ finished with Elam in front of the train tracks, near Hell on Wheels and Cheyenne, where Cullen Bohannon is living, and AMC has just released some video/promo when we see both friends meeting again. However, how long? AMC cannot kill Elam now, fans expect to see him with Bohannon again. New adventures?

Maybe you also like this post: Hell on Wheels season 4. Is Cullen Bohannon inspired by real John Casement?

Wounds made in Elam head by the bear are serious. He has become a ruthless and brutal man, very different to our beloved Elam Ferguson of previous seasons.

If Elam meets Cullen Bohannon under these conditions, the most probably is that Bohannon kills Elam and then, actor Common will disappear of the series since, I insist, it seems AMC did not plan on joining the cast.

Anyway, it will be disappointed to lose Elam Ferguson again. The Swede is the psycho of the series and we don’t need another one!

Enjoy your day, Yareah friends. Art is everywhere and up to you!

As the cricket season draws to a close, Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) can report a surge in popularity for guests seeking a full day of luxury hospitality at Lord’s during a Test Match in 2016. In the Home of Cricket’s most iconic venues – the Captains’ Lounge and Marylebone Suite – hospitality packages which included a hearty breakfast, sumptuous four-course lunch and luxury afternoon tea, sold out quickly for the first three days of the England v Sri Lanka and England v Pakistan Investec Test Matches. Private Boxes with the best views of the action for up to 18 guests also sold out fast for the same days. MCC revealed a sharp increase in revenue for its 2016 Sri Lanka Test Match hospitality packages compared with 2014 when the team last played England at Lord’s. Revenues for hospitality were up by nearly 30% over the same period in 2014 whilst private box sale revenues were up by a healthy 60%. Nick Kenton, MCC Head of Sales, Meetings & Events and Hospitality, said: “2016 has been a fantastic year for enjoying a day of cricket whilst experiencing the very best food, drink and hospitality that Lord’s has to offer. “This year’s sales figures show that hospitality packages at Lord’s were in huge demand and continue to be a key part of the summer sporting calendar.” Lord’s also expects high demand for its new hospitality packages, to be released this autumn for 2017 matches. These include England v South Africa from 6th to 10th July and England v West Indies from 7th to 11th September. Packages for the England v Ireland Royal London One-Day International on 7th May 2017 are also expected to sell out in record time.
