Los Angeles (The City of Los Angeles), often known by its initials L.A., is the second-most populous city in the United States, after New York City, The city is the focal point of the larger Los Angeles–Long Beach–Anaheim metropolitan statistical area and Greater Los Angeles Area region, which contain about 13 million people.

Cosmopolitan, ethnically diverse, full of celebs and stars! Does everybody love Los Angeles? Today, listen to Jensen Ackles, Denzel Washington, Lady Gaga, Julia Roberts, Norman Reedus, Joni Mitchell and Robbie Williams. They have different oppinions.

Jensen Ackles thinks that LA is the city of opportunity. However, Lady Gaga hates it. And you? What do you think? Tell us your opinion!

“My father is an actor, so he brought me into his agency when I was young. It wasn’t something I wanted to do until high school, when I started taking theater and really liked it. Then an agent found me and wanted me to come out to Los Angeles and give it a shot. I gave myself six months, but it only took me like a week to get a job.” By Jensen Ackles.

“In Los Angeles, everyone is a star.” By Denzel Washington.

“I don’t like Los Angeles. The people are awful and terribly shallow, and everybody wants to be famous but nobody wants to play the game. I’m from New York. I will kill to get what I need.” By Lady Gaga.

“Los Angeles is such a town of show business, and I’m a terrible celebrity. I find it difficult – it’s the beast that must be fed. There’s this big wheel of pictures and articles that goes around, and you get pinned on it.” By Julia Roberts.

“I followed a girl I met in Japan to Los Angeles and ended up working in a motorcycle store. I quit the job one night, went to a party in the Hollywood Hills and ended up yelling at a bunch of people. Someone saw me yelling and asked me to be in a play. The first night, there was an agent in the audience who took me on and sent me out for jobs.” By Norman Reedus.

“In New York, the street adventures are incredible. There are a thousand stories in a single block. You see the stories in the people’s faces. You hear the songs immediately. Here in Los Angeles, there are less characters because they’re all inside automobiles.” By Joni Mitchell.

“In Los Angeles, I feel connected to a hubbub of strangeness. And I enjoy that; I like strangeness.” By Robbie Williams.
