Top 5 Songs in Movies of All Time: Carly Simon, Irene Cara, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes
Top 5 Songs in Movies of All Time: Carly Simon, Irene Cara, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes. Of course, this is my very personal choice and -of course again- these are based on my personal tastes. I hope you like the songs. Have a nice day, dear friends.
1.- Let The River Run – Carly Simon
I’m sorry but I love New York and I love this song. Every night when I go bed I listen this song. It’s happy and this really inspires me. Congratulations to Carly Simon for such a great song. From the soundtrack of the film Working Girl. I know I’m not a girl but… I’m working NOW! Oscar for best Song.
2.- Irene Cara: Fame
Does everybody want fame? Maybe not but this song is also fantastic. Remmeber my name… fame! I want to live forever… I grow up with this song… And I remember her name: Irene Cara… also fantastic in the soundtrack of Falshdance. Oscar for best Song -What a Feeling-.
3.- Celine Dion My Heart Will Go On
No, I didn’t like Titanic -and I recognize it’s a great film but I don’t like love stories-, but this song is a classic song. Leonardo DiCaprio is a great actor -don’t miss The Wolf of Wall Street, he deserved the Oscar- and Kate Winslet -if you haven’t watched, take a look at The Reader, one of her best plays, absolutely great-. And what to say about Celine Dion? Always great, an absolutely amazing voice. Who won the Oscar that year for best song? Yes, that wasn’t a surprise.
4.- Whitney Houston – I Will Always Love You
She was fantastic, she was the one… Whitney Houston. We miss you and your voice.
5.- Dirty Dancing – Time of my Life
This song was composed by Franke Previte, John DeNicola, and Donald Markowitz and it was recorded by Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes. From the film Dirty Dancing. My sister loved it and I have listened it one million times.
We hope you liked, dear friends. Have a nice day and enjoy life!
