Game of Thrones season 4 finished last Sunday. Episode 10 was titled ‘The Children’ and it was quite thrilling:
Stannis Baratheon has an army in the end, and he defeats the Wildling army. Thus, he is closer to being King of the Seven Kingdoms.
Jon Snow burns the corpse of his beloved Ygritte beyond The Wall.
Bran and his party are attacked by reanimated skeletons at the large Heart Tree.
Arya escapes from The Hound, and she is going to Braavos.
And Tyrion Lannister kills his father Tywin.
Yes, Game of Thrones season 4 episode 10 was very thrilling! However, what happens with Daenerys Targaryen dragons? Her dragons have appeared very few times during this season. If I remember correctly, only in episode 1.
I waited anxiously to see the dragons in the following episodes: no results!
The problem with dragons is not money but time. The sequences with dragons employ too much work and time, and they film very fast.
I understand the problem, but in the final (at least), dragons could have appeared a little more. I would rather see the dragons flying (maybe Daenerys Targaryen riding) than reanimated skeletons. Skeletons are amazing but nobody waits for them, we expected to see the dragons, and we deserved this whim!
Furthermore, we could see only two of them, a few seconds, and completely humiliated. In fact, Daenerys Targaryen enchained them by their frightening behavior.
I hope to see the dragons in season 5, and I hope they don’t disappoint us again.
And you? What do you think? Tell us your opinion.
“I believe in everything until it’s disproved. So I believe in fairies, the myths, dragons. It all exists, even if it’s in your mind. Who’s to say that dreams and nightmares aren’t as real as the here and now?” John Lennon.
